Too expensive. Missing features. Let me build it.

Custom Excel solutions for the process no off-the-shelf software was built to handle. Made from your data. Incorporating your rules. Fitting the way your team actually works.

You’ve looked. You sat through the demos.

The off-the-shelf tool does forty things you’ll never touch, doesn’t do the one thing you really need, and comes with a hefty annual subscription. The custom quote came back at six figures, plus a year of development . . . and a whole new system to learn. So you still do it the way you’ve always done it. By hand. In a spreadsheet somebody built years ago. Every time.

The bottom line: You’re not doing it by hand because it’s simple. You’re doing it by hand because nobody built the tool.

Structured

Whatever the process looks like today, it gets built into a real structure, not another layer on top of the chaos.

Automated

The parts that ate your time — the copying, the reconciling, the rebuilding — disappear into formulas and macros.

Tailored

Not a template with your logo on it. Built around the rules that only exist in your business.

What That's Looked Like

Ordering, inventory, client reports, and day-to-day decisions, all handled in different places that never talked to each other. He needed a tool to manage his Amazon storefronts that matched the way he processed information.

Jobs booked. Dates requested. Crews ready to work. They needed a way to make sure every job was done, every hour accounted for, and no time was wasted. They needed a command console that brought everything together in one place.

Three hundred properties. Fifteen years of forecasts. A single set of underwriting rules that had to apply consistently, yet allow for exceptions. This was proprietary from the start, and no standardized software on the market was ever going to meet the need.

Design inputs, hazardous situations, and multi-level sub-categories. Off-the-shelf options were prohibitively expensive and still missed the mark. They knew what they needed, but it didn’t exist.

Different industries. Different problems. Same answer: I make Excel do what you need.

How I Build It

What data is needed?

Primary Data

Whatever You Have Now

We start with what exists, not what a system says you should have:

Metadata

The Rules in Your Head

We take your logic out of your head and put it into a table. It’s the first real step, and usually the one nobody else bothers to do:

Where does it come from?

Primary Data

Tamed and Reshaped

Power Query takes your messy raw data, refines it, and puts it exactly where it needs to be, in the exact shape the next step requires.

Metadata

Yours to Change

Rules live in tables, not buried inside formulas. When a rate or threshold changes, you change one cell. You don’t wait on me.

Structure

Built for the Person Using It

Guardrails, validation, and hidden working sheets mean whoever runs it day to day never needs to know how it works underneath. That’s the whole point.

What do you need to do with it?

Reports

Exactly What You Described

Dynamic array formulas, led by Lambda, build the report you asked for. Not something close to it. The thing you described, the way you described it.

Custom Output

Wherever It Goes Next

Files formatted for the next step in your process: your accounting software, a client’s portal, or a system that only accepts one very specific layout.

Interface

A Console, Not a Spreadsheet

Buttons and forms walk a user through the process step by step. Users run the business; they don’t manage a workbook. Excel works for you, not you for Excel.

I don't finish and disappear

Custom work is collaborative by nature. You see the first version, use it, and think of three more things it should do. That’s not scope creep — that’s how a custom tool gets built right. Most of these engagements run for years, and when something changes down the road, I’m still here to build whatever comes next.

Ideal for

Organizations that can’t find software that fits and can’t justify the cost of having it built from scratch. And teams inside larger companies who know there’s a better way to do what they’re doing in Excel but don’t have the time or in-house skill to build it themselves.

FAQs

I'm not sure exactly what I need.

That's most engagements. We start with what you do today and identify where it breaks. The initial spec comes out of that conversation.

Is my process too small to bother with?

If it costs you hours every month, it's big enough.
